"I love capturing flowers, landscapes, and everyday objects in my art. I think it's important to look for beautiful details in ordinary experiences and try to find ways to be grateful in everyday life. I mainly use watercolor and acrylic paint, but I also enjoy experimenting with graphite. Georgia O'Keeffe is one of my biggest inspirations. I love her use of bold colors, uniform blending, and flowing lines to create movement, and I try to incorporate all of these elements in my own pieces. Some other artists I admire are Zaha Hadid, Chris Firger, Maria Mishkareva, and Marshmallow Laser Feast. I plan on combining my love for art, physics, and computer science by pursuing a career in animation and computational modeling."
"I love doing photography and some of my favorite things to take pictures of are my friends, nature, and buildings. I’m inspired by my brother, Ian, because I’ve loved watching him progress as a photographer himself over the years and it inspires me to improve as an artist. I don’t know if I have any specific favorite photos but every time I take a new set of photos, I feel myself improving and I always get new shots that I love. I know I will always continue to practice photography and I also hope to continue photography as a possible side job in the future."
